while AAF is a good thing, with (paid) converters to other formats to import in various DAWs, I rarely used AAF. In the end it was easier for me to export the single tracks as audio files.

I didn't test the Auria AAF import and export recently. What I tested is the new DAW export (I don't recall exactly the name) from Cubasis on iPad to Nuendo. This works nicely. Better than AAF or other DAW export format I tried in the past.

I don't know, is AAF still used in music production? I don't read much about AAF in the past decade.
