Email will not connect

When I mixdown a song, the message says that my iPad is not set up to send emails. I don’t know why this occurs because I have Mixdown and sent M4As on my Google email for years. How do I begin emailing again? This happens on both of my iPads. I know this might be an old question, but I have not found the answer yet. So I actually tried deleting the app and reinstalling it not only did that not work but it erased all of my projects. Yes I am upset.
