Coming back to Auria

Post by lkingston » Thu Dec 05, 2024 9:38 am

I used Auria Pro years ago, but left after development was paused.

Now I was using Logic Pro on my first project, but ran into the frustrating issue where the IOS version doesn’t have the ultra-important basic feature of being able to see, define, and move transient markers.

So I’m trying Auria again and running into issues:

1) I had the original version of Auria, and upgraded to Auria Pro from that. Now, when I load Auria, it is the basic version and I don’t seem to be able to use Auria Pro without buying it again.

2) I dragged and dropped a MIDI file into Auria. I can see the notes on the timeline, but they don’t trigger the AUV3 (Pianoteq) that I’ve assigned. When I go into edit and see the piano keyboard on the left, I can play notes from that. They just don’t play back from the sequence.

So my first question would be how to get back to Auria Pro. The second would be how to get imported MIDI to play.

I had also bought all the upgrades that were available at the time, including the full Fab Filter suite. Since then I rebought the Fab Filter plugins because I was having trouble accessing them from other programs. I would love to get current with the latest version of Auria Pro and all the options if that is still possible from my original purchases.

Oh, and the track edit view isn’t full screen. I’m on a M4 iPad Pro.

Hi,
In Auria, go to Menu -> Auria Store. Check "restore purchases" in the top right corner. That should restore the upgrades your purchased and the pro version.

I also have the standard app upgraded to pro. Within the app store it remains as "auria", as the in app purchase does not replace the app, but all options should be available. In Menu -> Settings i have it display "auria pro version 2.360" which should be the current version.

Cheers

Thanks. I’m back on Auria Pro. The MID file is working like it should now.

Is there a way to resize the tracks page so it takes up the full screen?
