Well, I'd expect your UMC404 came with a CD of drivers and documentation. Failing that, you could try the same place you got your firmware update from. As a last resort, a bit of googling would probably point you to:

Oh man, im really done with that whole computer crap.
I installed new UMC drivers from the Behringer website, tried to get the new firmware....same DLL error.
I want my money back
Back to the Korg D888. Good night.
PS: of course I found the Behringer site, but I guess thats not my problem. I download the new firmware, unzip it in my PC, everything fine. But as soon as I connect the UMC and start the Behringer-exe I get this DLL-fault message. So its rather a problem of the PC, right?
PSS: aint got no CD drive.....

I see you've posted on the Behringer forum about your difficulties. If you've not done so already, it would be wise to raise a support ticket with Behringer Tech Support (
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Support/ask-a-question.aspx).
You're quite right - this would seem to be a problem on your PC, not with Auria.

has anyone got this interface working with Auria?
Seems like a pretty cool interface if it does.

I had it working with an iPad 4 and Auria. 4 input channels without a problem. I had to update the firmware with Windows. No problems with the update either. Make sure you disable antivirus software just to make sure.
I now have the Uphoria 404HD. No firmware updates necessary. Direct plug and play via CCK and a powered USB. 4 input channels also to Auria with no problems at all.
Just as a side note: the powered USB can be powered via a wall socket or a mobile phone portable external battery charger. A thing of beauty.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the update BGR.
This unit has Midas preamps, these are very well respected. In theory this should make for a high standard, have you got any feedback regarding the recoded mic sound quality?

I haven't done much with it. Give me a few days and I'll upload some simple recording samples for you.
Greetings.

Like I pointed out, very simple recording.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ihk6nb2n921u1 ... t.zip?dl=0
Equipment:
-Auria
-iPad 4.
-CCK.
-Mobile phone portable battery bank charger powered USB hub. Like user
fgplayerx proposes in his 2nd method.
-Behringer Uphoria 404 HD. Input gain dials pointing roughly at 2 oclock.
-Track 1: AKG P5
-Track 2: AKG P2
-Track 3: AKG P4
-Track 4: AKG P5 -a second one-.
-My voice and a classical guitar tuned at A432.
ABCD comparison test. So I would recommend that you download, unzip and place each audio track in different tracks of your favorite DAW so you can listen to each microphone simultaneously and compare the signals.
Exported each recording track from Auria to AudioShare and renamed. Then copied to Instashare and transfered to a Mac computer. Converted to FLAC with XLD. Zipped the four tracks together. And uploaded to Dropbox.

Interesting you have your tuning at 432hz, I've been reading a bit about that lately.
Thanks for taking the trouble to make these recording. It's helping to take the 404 seriously though I'm still wondering if I'm going to need more than 4 mics inputs realistically.

18x20 USB 24-bit/96 kHz Audio/MIDI Interface for $199 and the Iconnectaudio4+ these will work great with Auria.

I bought the 404HD now and it's indeed a great interface but it's not 100% trouble free.Although it looks like it could be an auria issue (hopefully)
I made a bug report here:

I turns out it's not Auria but the interface that makes problems. When you switch between apps and Background audio is active, the audio signal will quickly distort (similar to samplerate/bitrate degrate) and"slow down".You need to unplug/plug the interface to make it...great again (fortunately in Auria you can do it even while aurias sequencer is running!).
It's the same with UMC204HD so i assume the whole UMC series is affected.
It would be great if someone with one of those interfaces could test it with iOS10 (i'm still on 9.3.5)
