I'm using Auria with my iPad 3 connected to a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 with the Apple CCK...
I'm finding the CCK to be a bit troublesome, it disconnects (physically) from the iPad very easily.
Is there a 3rd party CCK that locks on like the older 30 pin chargers?
TIA!
Gary
Is there a better option?

Look up the cable jive dock extender cable. Or something similar, but make sure it has 30 pin pass thru. Most cheap ones don't.

We have found very unreliable results with non Apple Brand CCKs.
I would recommend Gaff Tape!

Oh, the irony. I have the same problem on my iPad 2, but not on my 1st gen iPad. It works great. Go figure.
Apple fixed it to the point it no longer works.![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
