Drumagog skipping notes and playing out of tempo with midi

Post by Rune »

Hi! I am having a problem with Drumagog and Logic 8. If I use Drumagog as a sampler (software instrument) and let it be triggered by midi in from a midi track, it sometimes skip notes and often playing out of tempo??? If I switch to e.g. EXS24 the track is played perfect. Drumagog is working fine with replacing hits in audio files, but the problem is midi in. I really can't figure this out and I do suspect it is a bug? :?

Thanks!

I've had the same problem with Cubase (old version 5 on a PC).

However... if use an external MIDI source - a MIDI track from a second computer - to play Drumagog as a sample player, I don't have any problems.

That's been my work around.

My work around have been to bounce the midi track using another software sampler to an audio track first. Then I use Drumagog on that new track. It works fine, but as there is a midi-in feature in Drumagog it would be nice if it worked like I would expect it to.
