here is what i do;
when i record drums i put 1 mic on the snare and i put 1 ddrum pro trigger on the snare also. i use the ddrum to trigger drumagog later during the mix.
the ddrum is in mono and the single snare mic is mono.
after the drums are done, i take the ddrum's spike track (mono) and buss it to a new mono audio track and insert drumagog (mono) and record dumagog as the song plays.
question is, how do i get a stereo snare track in the end?
will the mono ddrum track trigger a stereo drumagog plug or do i have to split the ddrum's output into 2 tracks then insert drumagog in stereo across them?
it seems that i could be getting a bigger fuller snare sound if it were in stereo.
how do i use drumagog in stereo?

If you are using Cubase or Nuendo, you would just:
1. Create a stereo track
2. Drag the audio from the snare track to the new stereo track
3. Insert Drumagog on the stereo track.
This assumes that the snare gogs you are using are stereo. All of the snare gogs on Rock Drums 2 and 3 are stereo and most of them on Rock Drums 1 are stereo.

so you can drag a mono track onto a stereo track and it will become stereo? that is a cool feature. i dont think you can do that in ptle.

then create a new stereo track.
Highlight the original track and the duplicate you created of it, drag both to the stereo track
I don't mean to discourage any adventures into sound...
But why do you want a 'stereo' snare? It's basically a mono instrument.
Sure you could have a top and bottom sound for more control. But, how do we 'hear' a snare?
Any 'stereo' would be from the sound of the room.
I do as you do (mic and ddrum triggers). I also mix the snare and kick to the center. Any 'stereo' is achieved with effects.
My favorite effect is to use the ambiance channels from BFD.
