I downloaded and installed the 4.10 update. When checking the version via Advanced/About Drumagog it still shows 4.08. What have I missed?

I am not sure. I suggest installing the "full retail version" of Drumagog v4.10 instead of the update. After you have installed v4.10, select the "About Drumagog" blue/purple oval in the Advanced tab to confirm v4.10 is installed on your computer.
