New Update Posted (4.03)

Hi everyone. There's a new update available in the download page (v4.03)

Here's what's new:

- New "Fixed Latency" Plugin added:
Drumagog now has two plugins to choose from when inserting onto a track: "Drumagog" and "Drumagog (Fixed Latency)". The fixed latency version is designed for use in hosts which have Automatic Plugin Delay Compensation (such as Pro Tools HD and Steinberg products). If you own one of these hosts, use the new "Fixed Latency" version for better compatibility.

- Full MIDI support for all platforms. MIDI output is now available for both Mac OSX and PC in all plugin formats. Please note that due to the nature of MIDI, Drumagog's output may result in triggers that are not consistently aligned. Lower latency audio devices produce more accurate MIDI trigger output.

- Various minor fixes.

Yes - sorry, the updates still require you to re-authorise.

Fixed Latency! Brilliant! I love you Rim!

I'm assuming the non-fixed latency will still allow me to insert DG on input with zero-latency(0ms) for real-time triggering like old-school hardware-triggers...

Yeah, works great now on PT HD
Now we only need a better(Bigger) looking GUI, and we're there

I'm going crazy with these small option buttons etc.

Hi there,

I just updated my installation of DG to 4.03 (on a Mac), and noticed the following:

- In DG's MIDI panel, the channel number isn't displayed anymore

- Regarding DG plugin formats AU, VST ... does the AU version also get updated? Although I use the VST, since my host's (Live) plugin latency compensation doesn't work when I use the AU plugin, I wonder if somehow not everything got updated correctly when running the update installer. And, I thought I should be able to use the AU.

- For my part, I didn't have to get a new unlock key, DG wasn't in demo mode and denoted version 4.03 directly after the installation. But then I requested a new key and unlocked DG anyways to see if anything would change with respect to the aforementioned points, which it didn't.

Couldn't get either the update or the complete programme to install.
I get an

Error creating file.
1008:5,-5000 Access denied error

followed by a VISE: You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.

I find it strange that I am not asked for my system password before install. I have repaired permissions etc. Both installers stop at DrumagogFL RTAS which is immediately for the update, but the full installer does some installing then stops at the same point.
I will try again but this has not happened with any other installer.
I was hugely looking forward to having MIDI out.

P.S Worked like a charm on my XP SP1 Toshiba 3Ghz Laptop.

Paul,

This was a problem with an early version of the 4.03 installer. We've fixed this issue. Please re-download the installer. It should ask you for a password this time.
