Cpmpression Pre Drumagog
Is it best to compress first in your signal chain and then use Derumagog?
Since compression evens dynamic range, Drumagog's functionality is not affected by compression. It will work the same pre- or post- compression. Since compression only affects level in this situation, the sensitivity bar allows the user to control triggering in this capacity
However, the timbre and characteristic of the sound will change. I feel it is up to the engineer's ears to make this decision.
