Upgraded from 4 to 5 and can't find 'add from track'

Post by Guitaristdave »

Hi,

I've just upgraded from version 4 to 5 and I used to use the 'add from track' method to create my own gog files in Cubase 4.

Has this feature been removed?

If so, can someone suggest the easiest way they chop up recordings into samples and export from cubase to make gog files (I get that you can drag the individual samples in to greate gog's). Alternatively, are there any other programs people use to create samples from waves?

TIA,

D.

Hello,

'Add from track' was removed in favor of 'Drag and Drop.' Cubase does not allow for batch exporting too easily, so the best option is to use a workaround. Simply cut up your samples to your desire, place them all on individual tracks, and then in the File menu, choose Export > Selected Tracks...

This will export .wav files that can be added (via Drag and Drop) to a .gog file in Drumagog.

Best,
