MIDI Output Velocity

Post by HenryBartsch »

Is there any way to keep the MIDI Output Velocity up at 127 regardless of trigger Input level. I am trying to use Drumagog as a Audio to MIDI bass drum trigger so that when double kicking lightly at fast speeds the sample still comes out just as loud. I am using Superior Drummer inside of Cubase 5. But the only problem is I can't get a consistant velocity output like a standard acoustic bass drum trigger would work?

Hello,

By default, Drumagog scales the MIDI velocity to match the incoming amplitude as closely as possible. However, if you adjust the Dynamic Tracking slider to 0%, it'll output every hit with a velocity of 127.
