Post by ibuss33 »

:?: I am using cubase sx2 . When I adjust the settings in the gog plugin , save the project then reopen the same project , all the settings are changed back . How do I correct this ?

Gog file settings are saved only in the gog file itself (not in your Cubase project). To save them, you just need to press "Save Gog". You can change the name of the gog file first, to make a copy of the original.

It really would be much better if the gog's could be saved with the project.

I agree, and this is already slated for v5.

Saving Gogs in a project

Post by ibuss33 »

:) Let's see if I get this right . First edit the gog , then save it on the samples page . Then , re-import the gog from the browse menu on the main page . After that , save the project . Highlight that channel from the cubase mixer view . Select save selected channels . Real useful for multiple channel saving , plus makes agood starting pont for the drums to tweak if one drummer is doing multiple projects .

by the way , when you save the gog , check out what folder it's going into on the advanced page .

Sounds about right, although I'm not sure you need to "save selected channels". In Cubase (and most hosts), anything you do to a plug-in is automatically saved with the project when you exit / save.
