Auto Hi-Hat tracking adding extra latency - how to compensat

Post by neilwilkes »

Sorry for truncated title - there are not enough available characters to write it properly.

Activated Auto Hi-Hat tracking and immediately get a message telling me this adds 127.7ms of latency.
How do I compensate for this in Nuendo 5.5? It should be automatic, but is blatantly late on the trigger.
Nuendo 5, 5.5 & 6 and Cubase 6,7 & 7.5 with WK-ID Controller.
Fully 64-bit Intel Xeon E5-2687W 8-Core CPU with 32GB Quad Channel RAM
Adam A7 x 5, RME RayDAT 1 into 2 RME ADI-8 DS, Tascam DA-88 to RME ADI-8.

Hello,

For various reasons, the latency induced by Auto Hi Hat tracking is not reported to delay compensation, and therefore will not be compensated for automatically. To get around this, simply shift your Hi Hat track forward by the reported latency (in your case 127.7ms) and things will line up.

Best,

Thanks Chris - already done this (no other solution apart from delaying everything else of course - funny delay though, 127.7ms.....
