How 2 make MIDI from AUDIO in Logic Pro 9 with Drumagog 5
Re: How 2 make MIDI from AUDIO in Logic Pro 9 with Drumagog
Hello,
The only difference is that, unlike Cubase, Logic won't let you route Drumagog's MIDI output directly to a MIDI track without using a utility, like MIDI Pipe. Our Drumagog 4 manual (http://www.drumagog.com/support/downloads) has a chapter about MIDI (page 67) that discusses this. This page on our old website describes how to setup Drumagog using MIDI Pipe, though using Pro Tools in the example: http://d4.drumagog.com/owd.htm. However, it has step-by-step instructions on how to setup MIDI Pipe itself and how to route the MIDI signal and will apply to Logic, as well.
Cheers,
Jack

Thanx, is any native methods withoud MIDIpipe?
Re: How 2 make MIDI from AUDIO in Logic Pro 9 with Drumagog
The problem is that Logic ignores effects plugins that transmit MIDI. The reason there is a need for something like MIDI Pipe is to "loop back" the MIDI signal by creating a virtual MIDI interface for Drumagog to send the MIDI out.
