Creating gogs out of old ones?

Post by pipelineaudio »

Is there a way to make new drumagog five gogs with the new room and oh and close hits out of old gog files? I have the steven slate that are split between close, room and overhead, and would like to put them together without adding wave by wave by wave

Hello,

You can do it with any GOG file, including the Steven Slate files, but you manually need to drag over from the Drumagog 5's sample browser room sample by room sample.

Man that sounds painful, but well worth it I guess.

The manual seems to indicate you can only have 2 extra samples, but the GUI makes it look like you can have three. Which is it? I am going to remake the Kompound drums for drumagog five format, and three sets of extra samples would really give some power

Hello,

It is in fact 3 extra samples. The manual shows that the included samples only have 2 (in the example), but in fact there are 3 slots available. It says this on page 25 of the Getting Started Guide.
