How to make room and OH samples?

Post by Jon »

I've used drumagog mainly for making my own samples on projects with natural recorded drums, and drumagog 4 worked fine.
IN Drumagog 5 we can make room and oh samples as well.
The thing is, i know how to make them, but i don't know how to make drumagog understand witch sample is room and witch one is direct?

Hello,

Direct (or close mic'd) samples have to be imported first. You just drag and drop them from the Drumagog file browser into the samples window. Anything in the samples window is considered a direct sample.

To add a room or overhead sample, you also drag and drop that sample from the Drumagog file browser, but you drop it on top of the direct sample you want to associate it with. Then a little dialog box asks if you want to designate it for slot 1, 2, or 3. So then just choose which room slot that should go to, and whenever the sample is triggered the room sample will trigger, as well.
