Drumagog + Cubase 5 ?

Post by Chris Edrich »

Hi!

I'm interested in buying Drumagog Pro, but I have a doubt about the compatibility between Drumagog and Cubase 5 for Mac... Since I had some issues with the VST Bridge (which is supposed to make it possible to use VST, but apparently doesn't all the time...), I'm afraid to buy something and not to be able to use it!

Any user in the same case? Or any answer from the gods?

Thanx!
Chris.

I'm guessing you're asking about Cubase 5 running on an x64 system, since you mentioned the VST Bridge. Drumagog 4 is an x86 (i.e. 32-bit plugin), so it won't take advantage of the extra memory features of an x64 system, but it will run through a bridge. Steinberg has been updating the VST Bridge, so it seems more stable these days, but you can also use other bridge's like Jbridge (which I've been hearing good things about).
