Need metal toms

I'm looking for a good set of toms for a metal recording I'm working on. I absolutely love the sound of the Steven Slate toms but there's too much ring for these songs. But I'm looking for something with those tonal qualities.

Hey there. Steven originally gated the toms to lessen the decay but people complained that they wanted the entire resonance because you can easily gate them.

For metal toms, use the Slate toms but put your workstations gate on them. Use the fastest attack and then adjust your decay and hold. Make it pretty quick because you don't want much decay in metal toms.
