I am interested in Drumagog--wondering if this will only provide me with loops or will I be able to write my own drum beats using the sounds in the program?
I am looking for a good library of vintage drum sounds to trigger to make my own beats. Will Drumagog do this for me?

Thanks!

Drumagog is primarily a replacer application (plug-in).

You start with prerecorded drums - preferably on individual tracks. You can use it live. And it can also be triggered by MIDI or send MIDI.

Drumagog comes with some samples and you can add anything from that point on (i.e., aif, wav, gog). You can make your own samples.

Drumagog will also play BFD. BFD (or something like it) is probably more what you are looking for if you just want grreat samples.

Logic Pro & BFD?

Post by Jade »

thanks....
i'm really just looking for the best sounding drum samples (not loops) to use with Logicc Pro. What is BFD? Why can't you create your own drum beats with Drumagog if its able to be triggered by Midi? Thanks much
