Challenge/Response authorization issues

Sorry for a stupid question like this, but I don't know where to find the button, to get the challenge code...

I'm assuming it's looking for a license on an ilok and if not found prompts for the challenge/response. Mine never prompted, but I have an ilok license. Might you have a valid beta license on an attached ilok?

Yes I do, the beta license is on the ilok, I'll disconnect it, let's see what will happen...

When I dissconnect the Ilok, it says that I need some pacelok extensions (I know that they're installed), and DP crashes, so still no way to get the challenge code...

I try to authorize my copy of Drumagog but always get his message:

ERROR! An unexpected authorization error 1501 occurred. -
. Please retry. If the problem persists please contact support@drumagog.com.

I contacted drumagog via email a couple of days ago but had no answer so far.

Only 10 days left!

Please help.

Hello,

If you have an iLok, do you want to use challenge/response? Would you prefer to use the iLok instead? You can get a new Drumagog 5 license automatically deposited using "Authorize This Product" button in the My Account page of www.drumagog.com. If you want to switch from using iLok to using challenge/response, it's a little bit trickier because as long as your beta 3 license is on your iLok, Drumagog won't let you see the challenge/response page.

Trying to follow your instructions, but am being asked to give the iLOK birthday?!?!?
Didn't know dongles had birthdays......am I supposed to give mine, or what?

The iLok authorization has a confusing way to word the process, and we are editing that as we speak.

What the iLok is asking for is your birthday. You registered your birthday with iLok when you created your account through them.

Be sure to enter it in two-digits per number: i.e. September 5th would look like:

Birth Month (MM): 09
Birth Day (DD): 05

Hello,

Challenge/Response authorization:

The first-time Drumagog 5 is opened without an iLok present
(or with an iLok present without a valid Drumagog 5 license) a
window will appear on-screen: Press the “AUTHORIZE” button to continue.

Uncheck the "Use iLok" box, and click "NEXT". The next window will present the Challenge/Response section:
Drumagog 5 will present a series of words displayed in the
CHALLENGE section of the window. Press “COPY
CHALLENGE” to copy the challenge code to the clipboard for
easy pasting later.

Browse to drumagog.com and visit the “My Account” section
(by logging-in through the upper-right hand corner). Your copy
of Drumagog will appear in the list of registered products, and
will include an “AUTHORIZE THIS PRODUCT” link. You
will then be given a choice to authorize via iLok or
Challenge/Response. Select Challenge/Response.

Paste the CHALLENGE code into the above field and click
“AUTHORIZE”. After a slight pause while the drumagog.com
website contacts the PACE/iLok servers, a RESPONSE code
will be displayed. Copy the RESPONSE code and switch back
to Drumagog 5, and finally paste the RESPONSE into the
corresponding field. Press NEXT to complete the
Challenge/Response authorization process.
