Midi accuracy issue

Post by MAW »

Hello,

when triggering Drumagog 5.2 with midi every once in a while single hits get triggered to early or too late and therefore don't line up with other hits. The picture shows the midi track and a mixdown/bounce of the triggered hit. How could the trigger be too early hen even ALL other hits in the song work just fine? This happens constantly, when working on say 10 songs for an album, there are with 30 hits that miss their target. How can I fix that?

System:
Mac OSX 10.7.5
Cubase 6.0.7

Thanks in advance,
Marc

Drumagog is designed to be triggered from Audio not MIDI. The accuracy of the auto-align 2.0 engine can very easily get thrown off when trying to trigger the plug-in with MIDI notes. You may find better success in accuracy using drum software life BFD3 or Addictive Drums that are designed to be triggered from MIDI notes.
