Bass Drum Pad Buggy

Post by RBrennan »

For some reason, the iGog install I have takes a ridiculous amount of force to trigger the bass drum. All of the other pads work fine (sensitivity is cranked way up, too) - and glazing over them works as expected. The bass drum, though, is more often than not unresponsive unless you really try to crash through the screen. Anyone else experience this?

The only thing I can think of is that because the bass drum is very low in pitch (we picked a very low frequency bass drum for iGOG), it appears quieter in many headphones. A good quality headphone (a large one) will reproduce the bass drum well. I use Koss PortaPro headphones with iGOG, and the bass drum is the same volume as the rest of the pads.

There's a volume adjustment for each individual pad located in the samples tab. You may want to also check that setting.

Thanks,
Rim
