Does the platinum version act as a successful host to Stylus and Reaktor ensembles for instance? What about Kitcore?

Hello,

All of these should work fine with Drumagog 5 Platinum through Plugin Hosting. What matters is that they are VSTi plugins, which is what is compatible with Drumagog.
