DRUMAGOG 5 AND DYNAMICS

Post by sirkingbrian »

Is there a method to utilizing Drumagog's drum replacement but still retain the original performance's dynamics? Particularly on the snare drum....

There are perticular songs I've produced that benifit from the lack of dynamics....a pop song or rock song where there are no fancy gracenotes on the snare....but sometimes i want the loose feel with the gracenotes and drum roll that doesn't sound "fake" or overly electronic.

How do I balance humanity with elextronics?

Thanks.

Hello,

Make sure you have Dynamic Tracking turned on, and on the settings page the Dynamic Tracking slider is set to 100% (setting it lower diminishes the effect of the dynamic tracking). With this turned on, Drumagog should translate the dynamics of the incoming hit directly to the triggered sample.

Best,
