Ah yes, I see the problem...

Maybe since Drumagog Basic AND Drumagog BFD both retail for $199 each, the upgrade cost is the same.

E-mail Rim for the real reliable correct information.

"seems like the order I activate each plug changes the outcome"

In the beginning... you had have ALL the Drumagogs inserted BEFORE launching BFD. Not sure if that's the case anymore.

I have a template with 8 Drumagogs already in place. If I don't need them all, I set to 'BYPASS'.

I usually run two for the kick, two for the snare and three for toms. The reason I have pairs for kick and snare is that, of each pair, I run one with a gog and the second to BFD for overheads/room/PZMs. I don't usually use the direct kick and snare from BFD. The three for the toms go directly to BF...

So, even if you select a kick or hihat or tom... all you can hear is the demo snare?

Do you have the 'BLEND' dial set at 100% (full clockwise)?

It's been years since I first got Drumagog. But, aren't there two kicks and two snares in the 'demo'?

Which DAW are you using? If it's Sonar or Cakewalk, check this . In BFD, make sure that the 'Drumagog mode' box is checked (in BFD, Options Panel, Engine Options section). Are you using the latest BFD build? There is a bit of latency with Drumagog - mine says: 3.99 ms. I use the 'SIMPLE' setting (on...

It sounds as if you want to make loops or even just a verse section and then copy and paste to make a second verse. Yes that can be done. Basically, what Drumagog does is to 'see' the impulses in an audio track and either play its own samples (you can make samples yourself), send out a corresponding...

"How can i convert audio into midi and use the midi notes that i created and pencil them in on the mapping grid." Drumagog will do that, too. Start with an audio track (i.e., kick drum), insert Drumagog, adjust the parameters, go to the 'Advance' page, select MIDI out, select Port, select...

Drumagog will do what you are asking. Record each trigger into it's own audio track - one each for kick, snare and toms. I'll assume that you are using real cymbals. I'd suggest getting the best recording as possible and using that along with the replaced drums. You could replace the cymbals with a ...

Anyone doing this?

My latest 'memorized' method is this: Start with multitracked drums, for best results. Next, I optimize each of the Kick, Snare and Toms’ tracks to -0.1 dB. Since I'm replacing, I'm only interested in 'driving' Drumagog. This way, a sound/hit that tops off at -0.1 dB will be the equivalent to a MIDI...

"The fixed latency version is recommended for all host programs that support plugin delay compensation. The only exceptions are Cubase and Nuendo. For these, it makes no difference which ones you use.

Now I know. I use Cubase anyways... the old ver. 5 - so what do I know...

I posted this a while ago for someone else having problems with Sonar. Maybe there are some points that'll help you. * * * * I believe, in Sonar, you must do a few 'extra' things... SONAR Since I use Cubase and not Sonar, I can only relate a few things that might help. I don't think you need to use ...

I believe, in Sonar, you must do a few 'extra' things... SONAR Since I use Cubase and not Sonar, I can only relate a few things that might help. I don't think you need to use the 'fixed latency' version - I think that's for ProTools HD, but I could be wrong. Also in Cubase, one needs to select 'plug...

I'd suggest going to at least 'PRO'. If you are at all interested in BFD, then get 'PLATINUM' - which is what I have. The 'extra' dimension with BFD, for me, is being able to use the Overheads, Room and PZM channels along with any sounds directly played from BFD. I much prefer this effect over addin...

I wasn't 'dissing' the 8-bit Kit. I have it, too. I believe you'll be very happy with Drumagog Platinum and BFD/8 Bit Kit. Don't forget, you'll also be able to load in any .wav or .aif sample INTO Drumagog as well. Or, .gog sample, as well. And, when you get Drumagog Platinum, be sure to download al...
