Drumagog and Windows 7 x64

While Drumagog 4 is fully compatible with Windows 7 (both x86 and x64 editions), there is one thing to be aware of if Drumagog does not appear in your VST host. Windows 7 x64 has two different Program Files folders, one for x64 apps and one for x86. Drumagog 4, as an x86 plugin, installs into "...

Re: Drumagog 4 not lining up

Hello,

Probably the biggest addition in Drumagog 5 will be Auto-Align 2.0, which completely revamps the alignment algorithm, and should tighten those instances where Drumagog 4 didn't always align properly.

Re: Is Drumagog SNOW LEOPARD & Protools 8.03 compatible

Hello, I believe with Snow Leopard 10.6.4 you must have PT 8.04 (they added support with the .04 update). I know there has been problems in general with 8.03 and 10.6 (and not Drumagog specific). Drumagog 4.11b (the latest version) should be fully compatible with PT 8.04, you may just need to make s...

Re: Exporting gogs containing symbols as wavs refused by PT

Hello,

When you export a sample from Drumagog it should ask you to specify the filename, so you should be able to re-name it when you export.

Re: Steven slate drums 3,5 EX metal ad more

Hello,

The Steven Slate libraries do not include hihats or cymbals in Drumagog format, so everything that is available is already displayed. Their hihat and cymbal sounds only work in their own Kontakt player.

Re: Windows 7 & drumagog

Hello, Based on your description it sounds like you have an older, non-Windows 7 compatible Drumagog installer. The simplest thing to do is download the latest Windows 7 compatible installer from our website. You will find this on the Download page of www.drumagog.com, and look for the section label...

Re: Drumagog 5 quick question.

GOG files will be the most accurate because they will work with Auto-Align 2. VST instrument samples may or may not start right at the opening transient, so the best Drumagog 5 can do is just trigger the VSTi when it detects a hit.

Re: Drumagog with Cubase SE3

First thing would be to check that you're running the right version of Drumagog 4 for your OS. If you have an older Mac OS you should be using the 4.10 version (vs 4.11 for Leopard and Snow Leopard). Also, with Cubase 3 you must be using a PPC-based Mac. Since Cubase 3 is not Intel compatible Drumag...

Re: steven slate drums gog files

Most of our users split up the libraries just by drum type, i.e. Kicks, Snares, Toms. If you want you can split them up even further, that's entirely up to you. Either way you can have up to 1024 Gog files in each folder, so you shouldn't run out of room...

Re: Drumagog + Cubase 5 ?

I'm guessing you're asking about Cubase 5 running on an x64 system, since you mentioned the VST Bridge. Drumagog 4 is an x86 (i.e. 32-bit plugin), so it won't take advantage of the extra memory features of an x64 system, but it will run through a bridge. Steinberg has been updating the VST Bridge, s...

Re: Drumagog 5 quick question.

While you won't be able to load the Superior Drummer samples directly into Drumagog (since they're protected files and can only be loaded by Superior), with Drumagog Platinum you will directly trigger Superior in real-time, without having to create a MIDI track, bounce Drumagog's MIDI out, route to ...

Re: Drumagog makes Cubase 5 crashing when saving

Based on your description it sounds like a corrupted Drumagog installation, and if you are receiving any "file errors" when adding Drumagog then that would confirm it. This generally happens when either a certain file or folder that Drumagog needs is either missing or inaccessible. The fas...
