Re: iPhone Original
Sorry to hear that! The reason is simple: The original iPhone's microphone has a miximum samplerate of 8Khz. Because of this, Voice Band can't use the microphone AND output 44.1Khz audio at the same time. If you plug in an external headset with a mic, it bypasses this 8Khz microphone and everything ...

I'm not sure why you're not getting any crash reports. I will look into this further on my end.

Re: Future features...
We are definitely planning on adding more instruments, and this will be available as an in-app purchase soon (look for this in an update).
We're also working on a "pro" version which will have a lot more flexibility in the recorder, plus more features.
Thanks,
Rim

Re: Can I get the full version?
Here's the way the upgrade process works: If you upgrade from the lite version to the full version, you will always have the full functionality of the regular version, but the icon will always still show up in your iPhone as the lite version. This is the way Apple does it, since there's no way for a...

Re: Splash screen then crash
That's strange... If it goes back to the springboard, it should report a crash. Some things to check: First, make sure you sync your phone first. You won't see the new crash reports until it syncs completely. Also, make sure you're looking at the correct user account in Documents and Settings and th...

Re: Splash screen then crash
I assume this is the full version (not the lite version), correct? If so, can you _please_ do me a favor and send me the crash report? This will really help me to fix this asap, so I can post a new version. Here's how to do it. First, sync your device with your computer. When you sync, it automatica...

Bob,
It's definitely something we're considering. I think it's pretty likely.
Thanks,

Re: itunes playalong not working
We don't support external microphones yet with Voice Band (only headphones), so I am not sure if your microphone will work with Voice Band. Are you getting any results when using Voice Band without the iPod library feature?

Re: Getting the sound out to a stereo
Liam, Here's how I made the video: I used a simple 1/8" stereo to RCA adapter, like this: http://www.speaker-central.com/s/10026/MyProducts/3.5mm_mini_plug_to_2_rca_jacks_y_adapter.jpg But any 1/8" stereo to RCA cable can be used. I fed that cable into an audio interface and recorded it al...

Re: Has anyone had an issue with Voice Band crashing at startup?
Ok, this appears to only happen on the Lite version. We have fixed this issue already, and have submitted it to Apple for approval. It should take less than a week to get it up on the app store. I'll keep you posted. If you have this problem, we appologize for the trouble. The update will be availab...

Voice Band currently does not support external mics, but you can use it with a headset, like this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001NABJ56/ref=asc_df_B001NABJ56994674?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=googlecom09c9-20&linkCode=asn&creative=380341&creativeASIN=B001NABJ56 Just make sure the headset h...
