Re: Issues from the reaper community

Right-clicking is the same as left-clicking in the Samples window; all functions are controlled by using the dedicated buttons at the bottom (like DELETE, SOLO, etc). So the behavior you see in Sound Forge is the normal one. Several of the issues you've mentioned sound like variations of the same th...

Re: drumagog 5 problems in advanced triggering mode

Hello, First, Plugin Hosting is supposed to work with Live Mode, so that sounds like a bug, and I've forwarded it off to Rim to look at for the next update. Second, there might be times where Live mode is able to pick up very rapid hits better than Advanced mode. The way Advanced mode works it requi...

Re: Using Midi Out Function in D5 and Sonar 8 -

Hello, The complication when using SONAR and Drumagog's MIDI out is that SONAR does not support audio plugins (like Drumagog) sending MIDI, and it gives no way to route the signal internally. However you can still accomplish this by using a third-party MIDI utility, like MIDI Yoke ( http://www.midio...

Re: Upgrade from Basic to Pro?

Hello,

The version 5 Basic to Pro upgrade isn't on the web store quite yet, though it should be soon. If someone is interested in upgrading in the meantime just email us at info@drumagog.com and we can send you the details.

Re: Differences in Latency between versions 4 and 5

Just to clarify, the other Drumagog instances got 80ms off when you un-instantiated an instance, or they got off when selecting a different GOG file?

Re: back to 4?

Hello, The ATA plugin should certainly work the Drumagog 5 (or most any other plugin), check the other thread for more info. Regarding version 4, the two plugins can happily coexist on the same system; installing version 5 doesn't remove 4, or vice-versa. If you want both installed at the same time ...

Re: ATA and Drumagog 5

No, Delay Compensation is reserved for Pro Tools HD only. While we haven't used the Mellowmuse plugins, I believe they have a manual latency setting, so you could just enter the standard 80ms (the default setting in version 5). I'm not sure how their pinging works, but I'm guessing that it generates...

Re: Only plays selected MIDI tracks.

Hello, It sounds like Drumagog is only actively sending MIDI when the track is selected, which usually indicates needing to change your monitor settings in Cubase. I believe there is a speaker-style button on the audio track that contains Drumagog, so try changing that setting to get Drumagog always...

Drumagog 5 Available October 1

We are thrilled to announce that Drumagog 5 will be available on the Drumagog web site October 1st. Thank you for your patience and continued support during this extended development process. We know that version 5 has been a long time coming, with much more work required than we originally planned,...

Re: Installing sounds on OSX

Hello, The Drumagog 4 Sample Library installers are compressed with Stuffit, and should be usable with the Stuffit Expander window (i.e. just drag the .bin file into the Expand box). If you receive an error doing this then there may have been a problem with your download being corrupted; generally r...

Re: Problems with dynamics

Hello, While I'm not sure yet what the exact problem is, I don't believe it's a strictly volume-related problem. If you have only one sample and Dynamic Tracking off, then Drumagog will only play that exact sample for every hit, at the sample's original volume. It sounds like something else is inter...

Re: Problems with Activation

Hello, I'm sorry you are having trouble with authorizing Drumagog. From your description it sounds like Drumagog is rejecting your unlock code. This normally happens when using an older code from another system, or even just from upgrading your OS. Always remember that when changing computers or ope...

Re: BFD2 Issues with Drumagog (PT8)

Then the other cause is usually an unsupported version of either Drumagog or BFD. Make sure you have the absolute latest Drumagog update (4.11b for Mac). For BFD, there have been several versions where Drumagog support was broken or missing, so make sure you have the current release, BFD 2.1.0.47.

Re: BFD2 Issues with Drumagog (PT8)

Hello, The usual cause of this error is Drumagog not being installed into the default folder. BFD and Drumagog 4 need to access each others files, and BFD is hard coded to only look for Drumagog in the default location (System drive-Applications-Drumagog). If this is the case then you just need to r...
