Re: Understanding the new direct fader
If we could find a way to quickly and easily switch which layer was first, this wouldn't be an issue at all. Right now its a nightmare to recreate an existing gog, swapping one mic for another. I'm betting you guys will figure out an easy way to do this, but I can't think of one.

Gogs moving themselves
Why do gogs I make keep ending up in C:\Users\pipequad\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Drumagog 5\Gog Files\
instead of c:\programfiles(x86)\Drumagog5\Gog Files\ ?

Re: Creating D5 gogs from gogs?
The funny thing is, when I'm all done and just using the gogs, I'll forget how long it took and just be happy using them. Hopefully some of the other gog creators can chime in, maybe they have some tips and tricks for the new format

How about a mouse modifier like shift or control when clicking on room 1's fader?

Re: Creating D5 gogs from gogs?
If you could drag single layer gogs into the sample window. Then you could stack them on top of each other. Of course you'd have to be sure that you had each one in perfect order, but thats fine.

GOG Files in Reaper
Perhaps gog creation could be made less painful if we could stack single layer gogs upon each other? Of course they would have to be in the correct order and such, but seems infinitely quicker and less error prone.

Re: Understanding the new direct fader
Turning down the output won't work in the event that I just want to turn the top mic down, while leaving all the rest up.

Re: Still massive mouse bugs in 5.11
With the Wavosaur program (which I'm not too familiar with), does it behave like something is "stealing focus" when typing? Like key presses aren't making it to the plugin? Yes, and I figure that may be the reaper issue too. Reaper has a behaviour to reserve certain keys and combos for th...

Understanding the new direct fader
If I have, say for my snare sample, 4 files : top, bottom, shell and overheads, then there will be no direct fader right? If I put top in as the lowest layer, then bottom as room 1, shell as room 3 and then oh as room 4, then top will always be at 100% and the rest of the files level can be varied w...

Re: Still massive mouse bugs in 5.11
Uh oh, on the other hand, creating new gogs in wavosaur is causing it to freeze at the point where you enter a name for the gog. Ill see if anyone else can repro

Re: Still massive mouse bugs in 5.11
I had only tried 5.11 in REAPER, but older versions of Drumagog had this issue in reaper, sound forge vegas, and I think Sonar.
I just tried 5.11 in wavosaur and it seems fine! I will try and find out what reaper and wavosaur are doing different

GOG Files in Reaper
Tried this in a few hosts. Getting reports of the same from others When creating gogs, clicking upon a sample often makes it "sticky", dragging that sample around, and in the case of accidentally clicking on another sample, completely rearranging (or worse) the gog you are creating. This b...
