Re: Logic Pro 9.1 and Drumagog

I think it's a problem with 10.6.2 / 9.1, Matt. I have 9.1 functioning just fine without Snow Leopard.

I find the best way is to audition samples while your playing the song... listen in context. Also, make sure you are triggering the hardest hits by manipulating the input knob in Dgog and/or change the gain on the wav. This way you are likely hearing the hits that SHOULD be triggering. If you can't ...

Freezing is when the track is, essentially, temporarily rendered in place. When tracks are frozen, however, you can't mess with any of the plugs on the channel. You are "commiting" to free up processor/dsp power. Unfreezing brings the track back to an editable state but returns the dsp loa...

Freezing the track or bouncing it and then re-importing it is what I always do.

Both through APIs into the computer. From there they were mixed and some EQ was done with some UAD EQs (mostly cuts), then t...

cymbals are live.

To trigger properly you really just need to play with the sensitivity and the group levels in Drumagog. If the original track has level issues due to poor drummer technique, raising the peaks in the actual waveform will go a long way.

Does that answer your question?

Re: ready to buy but have final questions??

with drumagog: if i purchase sample such as steven slaters, etc. Is it a pretty straight forward process or does it take a while? -it is a very straight forward process. you will either download the samples- Supersonic has this option- or you will order the DVD and simply install from that disc in ...

The transients are what you should start with. If there ends up being any phasing, then move them slightly BEFORE the transient.

have fun,
