I searched this... but it was too "common words" I have a 16" ludwig "baby kick" and I'd like to have samples for it... but I'm not sure how to do it the kit is in my studio, but I'm a guitar player, not a drummer... so too much techno-talk and I'll be lost in a couple of bl...

Do I simply record various hits (1 per sample?) in PT and save as 16 bit .wav... or 24 bit. Should I edit the file to be a short (soundbyte only) as possible?
