Hello, and thanks for posting your information.
We've been finding similar results as yours in our own testing, that (regardless of Pro Tools versions) trashing PT prefs often fixes crashing issues.

Re: Minimum amount of time between hits for D5 to react?
Another thing that can happen with any flam is when the sustain (ring) of the first hit partially covers up the transient/hit of the second hit. The Trigger Filter section can be used to either boost the higher frequency content around the hit, or to cut the lower frequency content that might be cov...

Yes, that sounds correct. The demo version only installs a couple of example Gog files.

Re: Drumago 5 demo problem
Hello, For Cubase, you probably need to open its Plugin Information window (found under Devices) and force Cubase to rescan for new plugins. There are a few options there to both Update the current plugin list, as well as edit VST Folder paths, which you might need to look into if Drumagog is the fi...

Re: Minimum amount of time between hits for D5 to react?
The minimum amount of time Drumagog needs will depend on a few factors. The first thing to always do when dealing with two very close hits is to adjust the Transient Detail slider over to the right, which will increase Drumagog's sensitivity and might allow it to pick up your two close hits.

Re: Noble and Cooley samples
Hello,
Those samples are installed by the Drumagog installer, and you just need to move them from the "Gog Files" folder that the installer created over to your custom folder. Then they should appear alongside your downloaded samples.

Hello,
The web designer who created the new look at drumagog.com for us last year seems to be attached to that design firm. Nothing to do with Drumagog itself, they're simply advertising their previous work as web designers.

Drumagog 5 and Pro Tools 10
With the recent announcement of the new Pro Tools 10, here's some preliminary info on compatibility: We haven't added Pro Tools 10 yet as officially supported, as we are still doing testing here in the office and following-up on some issues reported by PT beta users and some early adopters (mostly c...

Re: Drumagog 5 gog Creation
Hello, The demo version is slightly limited in that it won't allow you to actually save custom GOG files (that's reserved for registered owners), but the basic idea is that you import individual audio samples (up to 384 per GOG) and then assign them to different dynamic groups (though Drumagog can d...

Re: MIDI routing?
For a good tutorial on setting up MIDI Pipe, check out this older page on our website: http://d4.drumagog.com/owd.htm It uses Pro Tools and Ocean Way Drums as the example, but can be applied to any individual setup. The MIDI chapter of the Drumagog 5 User Guide goes into some additional detail, incl...

Re: Record MIDI out under Cubase 6 / 64 bit
There can be some rather strange things that happen, latency-wise, when routing MIDI out of an audio plugin and back in to a MIDI track when using delay compensation. It gets delayed a little bit because of your soundcard's buffer, but then also because Drumagog has 80 ms of latency Cubase will corr...
