Hi there... two questions:
I don't yet have an iPad as I'll be getting one in a late November sale. Is it possible to purchase Auria now while it's on sale without yet having the iPad?
Some advice requested - is the Air 2 worth it over the Mini 2? Been reading about the various issues with the Air 2...CPU spikes, etc.
I'll be recording at 24/96 using an SPL Crimson, if that has any bearing.

If you use large track counts and insert large amounts of effects then yes the Air 2 would be a good choice. I have been using an iPad Air and it works just fine for what I do. Mostly mic recordings (rock-jazz) eq, compression, reverb & delay are what I use mostly and my track counts rarely reach above 30 tracks.

I've read about some serious problems with the Air 2 on this and the AudioBus forums. I'm hoping it's not a lemon. Check out this thread:
