I know you can select 16 bit, from the menu, but how does one convert sample rate on a project? Or does it automatically assume if you choose 16 bit you must get 44.1......is that how it works?

There's no mixdown option for downsampling, but it's possible to do in Auria with a few extra steps:

1. Mix your project down normally. This produces a 96K file.
2. Create a new 44.1K project
3. Import the previously mixed down 96K project. Auria will automatically convert it to 44.1K
4. Create a new Mixdown. This one will be at 44.1K

Good,
One question: Mbites of 96khz are double of 44khz??

If I buy an Apogee which is 192khz, do you plan to add this compatibility in future???

A 96K file is 2.18X the size of a 44.1K file.

As far as 192K, we are limited to what Apple supports on the iPad. Right now, only 44.1, 48 and 96K are supported (no 88.2K or 192K).
