Re: Auria Pro
AFAIK the sampler is still being finalised so my guess is that we won't be seeing a spring release date.
Let's hope for summer, sometimes software development can take longer than anticipated

Re: Auria Pro
this is very bad planning- they have lost momentum
this is not how you release a product
this is not how you release a product

B.S.
Releasing a product before the major bugs are gone and before the "features" work properly is way worse than slipping the schedule a few weeks.

Yup. Might lose a few folks if it's late.claudel wrote:B.S.

Will lose way more if it doesn't work as it should.

Why are some people so impatient? It'll be done when it's done. In the meantime, just carry on with your life.
Re: Auria Pro
People are quite excited. But for some, like educators, it may be more important. As I have said before, it s not like wavemachine labs is your mate working in your kitchen, it's a company who announced a product, and a release period. All we can do is wait, and I like to think it will be worth it. I hope there will be an announcement soon.AndyE wrote:Why are some people so impatient? It'll be done when it's done. Is there a new official E.T.A?
Re: Auria Pro
Hi,
Is it possible to have a new date for Auria PRO?
A realistic one?
Just wondering, because I planned My vacation for the release.
In the meantime, I will use Auria with AKAI iMPC PRO to sample IAA:s.
Seems to be the best solution for me, Cubasis works not the way I like.
Even with the new minisampler.
No rush, take the time to make Auria PRO the best iPad sequenser.
Best regards,
Magnus

Re: Auria Pro
will I be able to use external sound modules with auria pro (midi)
Re: Auria Pro
I have this question as well. Can I use external MIDI sound modules with Auria? So far I haven’t figured out how if you can.

Re: Auria Pro
Yes you can and this is what you will need.
An audio interface with din midi ports if your using an older sound module that has no USB midi. You will send your midi to and from Auria Pro through this midi audio interface. You can also use just a midi box like iConnect to send and receive the midi data. You will need a powered USB hub to connect the midi box as you will also need to send the audio from the module to your audio interface in order to record the audio from the module into Auria. This is only needed if your Audio interface has no midi in or out included in the audio interface. Auria or any other daw has no idea what module your using it only sees the class compliant audio interface and any other usb device connected to your iPad. Make sure that the midi box you purchase has USB or you cannot connect it to your powered usb hub. Good luck.
