Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
In response to your question on my other thread: I’m on a first generation iPad Pro. I noticed that the issues only happen in the pro version - I reinstalled Auria but didn’t upgrade and the mute/solo/faders work. Also, I guess Auria has difficulty recognizing my Apogee one. I often get no output (both Auria and Pro). If I use Audiobus and plug/unplug the interface a few times then I get output.

Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
After updating to IOS 14 my Auria Pro app became very unstable. Excessive crashing etc. I decided to reinstall Auria. After installing Auria I went to the App Store and tried to reinstall all of my purchased apps. My attempt was unsuccessful. Here is the sequence ... When I try to download my apps I get a message immediately that says they have been reinstalled. Normally, each app downloads etc. and it takes a while. I tried again, I get the same message and the app crashes. There was none of the usual download process. Please advise.
I am using an a 2018 iPad Pro 2018, 256 GB. Using Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB interface.
Thank you. William

Bug report #2 .... No Save Button for New Project Dialogue Box and Track label under Mute Solo buttons . It seems to happen anywhere you need to add text. This has happened in the past. The ghost has returned. Thank you in advance.William

After updating to ios 14, the program hangs all the time when adding plugins during shipments, it is actually impossible to use. iPad Pro 12.9 2018
Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
I am using iPad Air 3
Bias fx 2 loads and runs fine during recording and play back. But once I freeze the track it becomes garbled. I also try doing a mixdown and bias fx2 is still garbled.
I have tried sample take and it freezes and mix’s down just fine. Not sure if it’s bias or auria.

Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
I am using iPad 6th gen, iOS 14.01, with Apogee Qtet.
I constantly have to power cycle the iPad for Aria to launch, and mostly Auria will not function.
I can open a new project and assign input, and sometimes I can see input and start recording, but
then Auria will freeze up. Track assign, display, and record functions seem to work normal but nothing
is recorded. Time display stays at 0:00.
Occasionally, I can assign a track in a new project, see input and start recording. But then it freezes
and I have to power cycle.

Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
Have you tried using a 48000 sample rate?

Yes, sample rate has been set at 48K. But after initial success, and then adding a
track to continue recording, these same issues occur.

Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
Is this happening with a new project, or an existing project? I just tried creating a new 48K project, added an audio track and started recording. I had no issues. I added several tracks after that and didn't see any problems. Can you describe the steps you're taking to cause this problem to happen (starting from a new project)?
Thanks,

Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
This is from the very start, since I purchased the software and started a new project.
I check to make sure the Apogee is connected and recognized, then open a new project, assign input, and start recording.
One out of maybe five attempts will I see input and able to start recording, and then it stops.
There will be static display of input signal, but no signal is passing. Recording will not engage, transport display reads 0:00.
Then I power cycle to attempt again.

Does this interface work well on your iPad in other apps?michaelv2020 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 6:34 amThis is from the very start, since I purchased the software and started a new project.

Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
IOS 14.2 has killed Mackie MCU, on 3 different surface controllers. As soon as you hit ‘Send Remote’ it crashes. I know you don’t have a controller, but even MMC and DAW Control does the same thing?
Please fix this?? Please?

Re: Official iOS 14 bug thread
I second that, it´s urgent. HUI Mode still works (X Touch One), but MCU is preferable.
