Hi, I am unable to get Auria to recognize the ADAT inputs on my Scarlett 18i8 properly when connected to my iPad Air 2.
It does accept the inputs but routes them improperly, I have tried manipulating the Scarlett via the Focusrite control software but I just cannot get the 8 ADAT inputs to go to the first 8 tracks on Auria.
Scarlett 18i8 ADAT inputs
Re: Scarlett 18i8 ADAT inputs
Typically an interface's ADAT channels will show up (by default) after the mic/line inputs. So for the 18i8, the ADAT inputs should be inputs 9-16 in Auria.
You can use the Input Matrix in Auria (Menu> Input Matrix) to route the ADAT channels to your first 8 tracks, as desired.
Let me know if this helps.

Re: Scarlett 18i8 ADAT inputs
Thanks. I have my Coreaudio settings on Classic, and the Input Matrix does recognize the Scarlett and its 18 inputs. However it routes the 8 ADAT inputs to channels 11-18 instead of 9-16. I'm assuming this makes the 2 S-PDIF inputs unavailable (which should be 17 & 18).
Re: Scarlett 18i8 ADAT inputs
I think that would make your s/pdif inputs available on 9/10 and the ADAT on 11-18. Is there an issue with this? It sounds like you have access to all of your interface's inputs in Auria.
If you want the ADAT channels to show up elsewhere, you can reroute them using the Scarlett Mix Control app on a Mac or PC.

Re: Scarlett 18i8 ADAT inputs
Thank you. I will have to check if the S-PIDIF is actually going to 9-10. The funny thing is that on Scarlett Mix Control I have the ADATs on 9-16 but they are coming up (DEFAULT settings) as 11-18 on Auria's Input Matrix.

Check and let me know for sure. If that is the case, Focusrite may have to look into it from their end.
