K-Mix
K-Mix
Has anyone used one of these with Auria? Wondering if I can get 8 channels of sound into Auria at the same time! I haven't heard much about this yet? 24/96 sounds good. For a minimal setup like mine! Other than that I'm looking at a Yamaha MG 12 or 16 with stereo 24/96 class compliant output... Or Mr Xmas is gonna buy me an Apogee Quartet & a mixer! Any tips appreciated

Re: K-Mix
I'm looking at the Yamaha MG12 UX myself. I had thought about getting annAudient interface but I think a mixer will be more practical for me.
Re: K-Mix
The Yamaha should have a good sound card! But, I'm still hoping for multi channel output, into Auria. I'm surprised that there are such limited options, mixer wise!
Re: K-Mix
Does the K-mix work as a surface control for Auria? Been dying to find out.geremy wrote:Happy to report that with the latest firmware (5/27/2016) the k-mix is working very well. All 8 ins and 10 outs show up in the io matrix. Recording is good. I wish Auria had an 88200 kHz setting!

Re: K-Mix
I just heard back from Keith McMillon Instruments and they stated that K-MIX firmware version 1.2.11 brings full iOS compatibility. They also stated that, "Currently, however, Mackie control protocol is only supported on the K-Mix transport buttons."
We should have one soon in the office for testing, so I will report back with any updates.
