Sugar Bytes Cyclop as native Auria plugin...?
Sugar Bytes Cyclop as native Auria plugin...?
Today SB released Cyplop and i wonder if there will be a native Auria (Pro) version as well?Would be awesome but sadly it seems SB stopped to port their stuff for Auria. So i would like to encourage more people to send them request mails

Re: Sugar Bytes Cyclop as native Auria plugin...?
I've noticed one big thing about 3rd party plugs is that they don't necessarily update the plug in a timely fashion. Some haven't seen an update in a while.
IMO
If a plug is available as a stand alone app, then I will purchase that because it would be useful in live Audio bus chains etc.
Also, Cyclop might be a CPU monster as well and that would make Auria look like it was handling memory poorly.

Re: Sugar Bytes Cyclop as native Auria plugin...?
Maybe i misunderstood you but you know that you purchase Turnado ONCE and can use it the way you like?No matter if native in Auria or standalone,IAA etc...
And i also don't see the relation between"CPU monster" and "poor memory handling" in your last part, could be my english though Cyclop is just a 50MB download,Ram shouldn't be an issue here. Not for my device at least.
Might be a CPU monster but I'm not really thinking to use a specialist like Cyclop multiple times.First of all i'm thinking about absolut reliable total recall and everything is saved in one app/project.Combined with rock solid midi sync (this might be the case already,Effectrix syncs well as IAA)
I was waiting long enough now,i just want the ONE APP solution and i want to get rid of the mess that Audiobus became and IAA still is,thanks to Apple.

Re: Sugar Bytes Cyclop as native Auria plugin...?
I have no problems with Audiobus or IAA. We all use it differently though.
Maybe I missed something, but I don't understand how the IAP version of Turnado is as flexible as the stand alone app. Can you explain how that works?

I can tell you some "problems" that everybody has with IAA or Audiobus:martygras wrote:I have no problems with Audiobus or IAA. We all use it differently though.

Audiobus:it's a seperate app
IAA:if you load multiple songs that you saved with IAA inside you always have to take care (and remember!)that you open every single IAA inside your songs to make sure they don't stay invisible in the background, possibly causing trouble in other projects. All of them need to be removed from the background maually.
Advantages of a native version are really clear i thought but again:
1.Using the same plugin multiple times
2.total recall
3.makes use of Aurias preset system
4.All parameter fully automatable
5.removing plugins from sends/inserst and they ARE closed, not still sucking juice in the background.
6.rock solid midi sync
summary:you have all the goodies you know from desktop DAW's.
I'm still not sure what you mean with IAP version of Turnado? There are no different versions,i mean yes,the native plugin and the standalone app ARE slightly different:the native plugin doesn't have the page with the XY pads.Guess they left it out cause you can automate all parameter in Auria anyway. But you don't have to choose, you get both versions anyway for the same price. And that's exactly what i'd love to see for cyclop as well. It's an enhanced version, not a replacement.

Yes but inside Auria all sugar bytes plugin save his state, in the project, and for me is much better....
Re: Sugar Bytes Cyclop as native Auria plugin...?
You should better read it because what i wrote about IAA IS a problem,it would be childish to disagree. And if you think using a seperate app just to intergrate synths/fx into Auria (and ignoring all advantages i listed above for native vesions) stands for a better workflow...well,then i'm talking to a wall.It doesn't even make sense, but you are lacking arguments anyway. All you did is calling it bullshit...very matured, reallymartygras wrote:As soon as someone says "everyone" I stop reading any further BS.

Re: Sugar Bytes Cyclop as native Auria plugin...?
Some info from Sugar Bytes:
.... "there is no realistic chance for native Auria verions at the moment. Egoist and Cyclop are full screen apps and when we think of the size in Auria it would make the handling very uncomfortable, at worst impossible".
(Well at least it's on iOS)..
