Auria experts..please make a tutorial.
Auria is a complicated daw...but there aren't many free tutorials available for users. Please help newbies with an easy tutorial on using auria
Re: Auria experts..please make a tutorial.
Not sure if you've had a chance to look at them, but have you seen our blog entries? We made a series of tutorials for various functions in Auria:

Also, the lynda.com tutorials are great, and several of them are free (and on youtube)

Thanks Rim
I would like to know how to do parallel compress in auria with drums and how to group 4 guitar tracks to a bus track so I can add efx to the bus track and it would automatically add to all 4 guitar tracks instead of adding efx to each guitar track.

Re: Auria experts..please make a tutorial.
was it that good? An does it include the latest version of Auria?
Re: Auria experts..please make a tutorial.
What's the current version?
Re: Auria experts..please make a tutorial.
I have watched the full Auria tutorial on ask Lynda. It's really great but it doesn't go into any detail after basics. I'm gonna watch those on mastering and mixing , reverb and delay etc but I feel I'll out of sorts trying to make headway with the overall subject of recording AND with the smaller details. I'm jumping/ floating all over the place. I'm looking through the fab filter manuals for example and understand maybe 50%. So many new terms. I need to somehow learn in detail all the basic parameters of the plugins. CAN anyone recommend A) a book or video series on the whole of recording in general and B) a book or. Video series on compression, eq, limiters, gating etc. details or do I just do a wicky search on every little detail- YIKES! I'm doin this as a fun hobby and know well it will take a few years but I need an overall plan plus need the ability to be able to zone in on details of the plugin terms and functionality. I'm sure many are in the same boat.
I AM recording and trying to mess with the plugins but I can only go so far without knowledge. Thx for any suggestions!

Ps the tutorials in Auria blog on the channelstrip close up r perfect, but I found them only by google and I can't seem to navigate to any sort of 'table of contents' at least not on my ipad....I've clicked everywhere, used search etc.
Re: Auria experts..please make a tutorial.
Spoke too soon- the Lynda.com on compression, expander, limiter and gate is very good. Combined with Simon Hugh's and a bit of google I think one can figure a lot out.
