I count get the ipad 3rd gen to recognize the 2i2. I plug the 2i2 to a small powered hub, and the hub to the ipad, and I get a "not recognized" notice. Does the type of USB end matter? (A or B) Do I need to install a driver? Does the kind of powered USB hub make a difference?
Thanks

Re: Connecting to a Focusrite 2i2
I'm using this hub with the 2i2 and an iPad 2; it's working fine:
Belkin usb 2.0 4-port hub white, it's about $14 from Amazon USA.
I don't know anything about A or B, but I think USB 2.0 is important.
Did you plug the hub into an outlet? It has to be plugged in.
Hope this helps.
