I've only been using with iPad mic/headphone out so far as I learn the program.
When a track is in record, the audio existing on that track can't be heard? Or is this only because I'm not using a usb interface?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Re: Monitoring on a track that is in record
Hello,
Audio that is on the track that is currently being recorded to will not play--however, if you set up auto-punch, it will play back audio on that track up until the moment at which recording begins (specified by the locator points). This way you can monitor a track up until the instant at which recording starts. It is no different when using a USB device.
Best,

Re: Monitoring on a track that is in record
Thank you Chris. Works perfectly.
Hopefully before too long we'll be able to just hit the record button where and when we want to 'punch' into a track. That would be a real time saver over setting up locator points.
You know.....most singers are very impatient. LOL!
Best,
Ron

Cheers Ron, remember the "I Will Love You" instinctive Remix back in... 2006?
Amazing to run into you here I've also converted to iOS for much of my production pipeline
And don't let Kathy read your comment on singers...

Re: Real time punch in?
Hello, I am a new user to Auria...love it!!! However, I do a massive about of
vocal overdubs where I sometime punch in on syllables, etc. I can't seem to
find a way to punch in real time. Does that not happen with Auria?

Re: Monitoring on a track that is in record
Auria doesn't have a real-time punch in, only auto punch-in. This is mainly due to the fact that we found there to be a significant lag from when you press a button on the screen to when the recording starts, so it wasn't very effective.
