DrumPerfect CPU Issue
Hey Guys, Picked up DrumPerfect and was fooling around trying to lay down some tracks and my max CPU shoots up to 420%. I'm using an ipad 4. Here's what I did: -Closed all apps -Restarted ipad -Created a new project at 48k -Added 1 stereo track -Inserted DrumPerfect from channel strip -Recorded a co...

Re: Drumagog and Hihat articulation
I got tired of the drum situation as well. I picked up Toontrack Ezdrummer and do my drum tracks in Reaper. I export them as individual wav files and do the iTunes share thing. It's a little cumbersome but working with EZdrummer in Reaper is really easy and it sounds great. I then finish it in Auria...

Re: Beat maker 2 & IAA
However, DM1 can export to multiple tracks if you want. You can also solo individual parts and record them out. Several ways of doing this. Another thing, if you are using beatmaker, why not just upgrade your samples in the first place then you won't have to change them out on drumagog, which imho ...

Re: Crash, recording lost
All apps were closed. I did however disarm the track with my FaderPort while it was processing, is that enough to push it over the edge?
Thanks,
Pete

Crash, recording lost
Got a new guitar pedal today and wanted to record myself putting it through its paces. Created a new project, one track, hit record and played for about 45 min. Stopped recording and as Auria was "processing tracks" it crashed and the recording was lost. I ran mic>duet>ipad 4 iOS 7 using a...

Re: Beat maker 2 & IAA
Ok I get it, looks like beatmaker supports recording other IAA's but it's not able to be used by auria. Still waiting for a legitimate way to lay down multitrack drums (so I can Drumagog). I'm surprised that none allow multitrack export. DM1 claims to but it has never worked. I know this topic has b...

Beat maker 2 & IAA
Hey all, got an update for beatmaker 2 and it listed IAA support for iOS 7, which I am running. Does this mean I should be able to select it in the channel strip and be able to use it for say laying down some drum beats? I don't see it in the dropdown.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: New to Auria
Welcome aboard! Regarding drums, it's something I've struggled with a bit as well. Still waiting for one of the drum apps (other than DM1) to enable multitrack export so they can be drumagogged in auria. If anyone knows of one, please advise. If you go the loop route, I would suggest taking a look a...

Core audio mode selection with duet
Had a chance to do some recording with 1.11 tonight and have found that the legacy option within the core audio mode setting is the only one that allows me to avoid latency issues when tracking through the duet. In each different core audio mode I recorded a rhythm guitar track then an overdub. In a...

Re: New CoreAudio mode setting in Auria 1.11
Just to confirm, is this the issue causing latency with the duet?
I've scoured all posts on the subject, tried just about everything and no matter what I do overdubs are way off.
Thanks,
Pete

Anyone Able to Run a Powered USB Hub with Duet?
No luck here, Duet seems to want more power, it cuts in and out. Was trying to run a FaderPort, mpk25 and Duet into ipad 4 via a Belkin powered hub. Tried the hub into the duet ad well, to no avail. Not a big deal, I just plug in what I want to use one at a time into the duet and it works fine.
