I've a focusrite Scarlett 18i6 and a new iPad 16gb I would like to record 8 analog channels. 2 condenser mics for the drums 2 dynamic mics for the drums 1 dynamic mic for the voice 1 line for the bass 2 lines for the keyboard The audio card has only two preamps mic input. Which is the best solution?...

Monitoring and focusrite Scarlett mix control
I can't disable the monitoring signal on the focusrite Scarlett 18i6 when I plug directly to the iPad The solution I found was to configure the routes on the mix control with the audio card connect it to the MacBook, save the configuration, unplugged the USB cable and plug in to the iPad . maybe i forgot to specify that the TRUST 10 ports usb hub IS powered.
i plug it directly this way
1 usb cable to the focusrite
1 usb cable to the CCkit
the hub is using only 2 ports.
any suggest?

hello everyone
I plug the focusrite Scarlett 18i6 thru the CCKit in an iPad 3 and appear a dialog saying that this device require to much power. Do I need to connect a powered USB hub?
