Re: Linking two Presonus 1818vsl's...
The behringer mixers will only give you 2 channels of output. They do not do multitracking.

Re: Linking two Presonus 1818vsl's...
No it was not the behringer. It was an Orion 32. His title as recording 24 tracks. But he is not recording anything because he has no inputs plugged in.

Re: Linking two Presonus 1818vsl's...
Here is my question for RIM. I am sure it has been answered before. If I buy 2 behringer ada8000's and link them to the 1818vsl do I get 24 tracks? Can AURIA do 24 simultaneous? Someone has a video on YouTube of an interface showing all 24 active. But that interface is a joke to use with AURIA. It's...

Re: Linking two Presonus 1818vsl's...
The inputs show up just like the first 8 channels. If you plug in the additional 8 inputs AURIA sees 16 inputs active.
The current behringer is the ada8000. They can be bought well under $200. I might just buy one right now for myself.

Re: Linking two Presonus 1818vsl's...
The 1818 only takes and input from another device. You cannot chain two 1818s together. Buy another adat out mic pre. Presonus does make a adat mic pre. The behringer one works great. That is what AURIA developers used when they recorded the band in the demo. I have a fostex vm88 mixer that I have b...

Re: Presonus 1818VSL: Field Test and Pros & Cons
I am not holding rim responsible at all for presonus. I was just asking if they had any more info. It's a lot easier for them to get the update than it is for a regular customer. I think presonus owes aurias developers a big THANK YOU. Presonus is selling 1818vsl more now because of the AURIA app. A...

When was the last time you spoke to them? Are they still working on it?

Re: Auria 1.04 ready for download!
On more aux question. Now that they work as sends can the be selected pre/post fader? I don't see that option anywhere. Rim I am sure you know why I would be asking. They work as monitor sends but obviously would work better pre fader.

Re: Auria 1.04 ready for download!
Confused about on thing (so far). Why are the aux sends in the output matrix, which work great, labeled aux 0 and aux 1? Is this an error? Aux 0 is aux 1 and aux 1 is aux 2.

Rim where is the 1818vsl update you told us about so that we don't need the hub? Can you try to give us an update? Have you heard anything from presonus?

Did you know with iOS 6 headphones work with 1818vsl
So my 1818vsl headphone out is now working. RIM I know you said it would be added with software update but did you know it's working now? Am I the first person to figure this out or was it mentioned before?

Auria works with mackie dl1608 but only 2 channels.
I got my mackie DL 1608 and it works well with auria. Like an alesis io dock you only have 2 channels. And you have to make sure you pan left for channel one and right for channel 2. Also if using an effect make sure you pan that too or it will bleed over to the other channel. Best thing to do is le...

Re: Anyone know if Auria is compatible with Alesis Multimix1
I really hope someone does come out with a full mixing board that will work as a multitrack interface that can be used with auria. This way you could have all your tracks going into auria and still be able to use the board for everything else. You could use it in the studio for monitor mixes. Or as ...

Re: Anyone know if Auria is compatible with Alesis Multimix1
Although I cannot say if a specific USB board will work or nor, what I can say is that USB mixing boards don't separate audio tracks. So if they do work you will only have 2 channels to work with. A left and a right. Which means that even if you are using a channels of the board you will still only ...
