Is there something fundamentally different about the screens between the phone and touch that makes velocity sensitivity possible only on the phone or is this something that can be brought to the touch.
I got so excited about the reviews that I didn't read the fine print and am totally bummed about the lack of velocity. Without velocity, there's no breathing to the rhythm and thus no groove. I see that you're going to allow the external mic of the Touch to be used which is great. Any chance of velocity, too?

Ipod Touch Velocity?
Re: Ipod Touch Velocity?
The only reason VelAUcity isn't supported on the iPod Touch in the current version of iGOG is because VelAUcity requires a microphone (to determine how hard you hit the screen), and there's no microphone on an iPod. The next update (already submitted to Apple, waiting for approval) allows you to use a headset with your iPod Touch, thereby enabling both VelAUcity and Mic Triggering modes.
