Midi and Drumagog
I'm sure this has been asked many times, I've searched and can't find the answer that works. I'm running PT 8 and am writing my own drums in midi, drawing in the hits for kick, snare, ect... On the output of my midi tracks there is an option to go to 'Drumagog1'. I choose that, now where do I go? How do I 'insert' drumagog to those tracks so I can set up my drum sounds? Thanks.
Hello,
To trigger Drumagog via MIDI, first create a new audio track and add Drumagog as an insert on that audio track. Then go to Drumagog's "advanced" tab and enable "MIDI In". You will also need to specify the MIDI channel and MIDI note of the midi track you want to trigger, and then choose Drumagog as the output for that MIDI track. Select the appropriate GOG file you want Drumagog to play, and you should be all set.
