Open Gog, BFD, PTLE 7.3.1 closes everytime

Post by knemez »

I am using PTLE 7.3.1 with an 002R on a macbook core duo 2.0 ghz 2gb ram on a clean install of OSX and PTLE and everytime I bring up Drumagog and then bring up BFD PTLE shuts down immediately. I can bring up either plugin w/o problems or even BFD and then Gog but never the other way around. I am of course using the latest BFD that supports Drumagog. I also have the music production tool kit installed as well as Sampletank 2 and Trash.

Has anyone else had success with Gog/BFD with 7.3.1 on OSX 10.4.8? Support....any ideas?

Thanks

I just tried removing all plugins except BFD and Gog and still the same thing...PTLE just closes. If it will help this is the last half of the OSX crash report.

Make sure you have your gog folder in the correct place on your hard-drive - set in the Drumagog plugin (Advanced page). Also make sure you insert Drumagog first then BFD, and in BFD turn on Drumagog mode in the play options panal.

BFD is set to use drumagog (though is crashes wether it is set to use drumagog or not) The drumagog folder is set to Macintosh HD, Applications, Drumagog, Gogfiles.

Also this is the demo that I downloaded so I'm not sure what version it is exactly (other than 4) and I do get 5 messages when it starts up:

^0
Error: Bundle function 1 not found (then repeats with function 2...3 and so on)

Any other ideas?

Not sure if the demo works with BFD or not, it should do I guess. Which one are you trying? Platinum or Drumagog BFD.

Send the report logs to Rim.

Thanks for the crash log - I think I have identified+fixed the culprits. I'll try to get a new version of BFD 1.5.46 up with the fixes today.

Just to be certain - this is BFD with Drumagog Demo that's going down, right? I want to make sure I'm testing with the right setup.

Hi,

This issue has been fixed on our end, so if anyone still has this problem, please download the new update (Drumagog Platinum v4.09b). The latest demo version also has this fix in it.
