Question about drumagog

Post by Trip272 »

I have a question about drumagog. I know it replaces drums but my question is lets say I cant afford to have a seperate mic on each drum and record the whole take on 1 track. Can drumagog replace all the drums with different samples? Or will it just only be able to use the same sample?

Sorry if thats confusing but I hope I can find an answer.

you need to have separate tracks to use separate samples. the only other options is if you use triggers and make a MIDI track, you could use the MIDI track(s) to trigger individual samples.

Or you can make copies of the one drum track and try to bring the BD SD etc on top with EQ gate, or what ever, and then replace them.
I just made an example to someone but couldnt find it anymore
